My Fan Art

I am not a big Youtuber, as of the writing of this I am just at around 389 subscribers on Youtube, however I have over the past five years or so received way more fan art than I probably should have for someone my size. It is a humbling experience and I am forever thankful for all of these. I have organized these by person and by person I mean by handle. Most of these are from Twitter, if I know they are on Bluesky I will add that as well. Sadly, it must also be admitted that some of these people are no longer active anywhere, and without a real name, all I have left to attribute to them is the former handle, but thus is the anonymous nature of the vtuber community. When there was a specific reason why I recieved something, I will explain the context under the picture.

When I wrote the above I did not realize how much of a nostalgia trip it would be to write the context. So in addition to being a part of my site dedicated to my fan art, in a way it is also dedicated to my history in the vtuber community and as such you will find snippets of events and anecdotes from my time there. Most importantly it is meant to memorialize my friends who are no longer around. You may be gone, but I still remember you and you still mean something to me.

Aiko Panda was one of my friends from my original circle of friends on Twitter. She was such a kind and upbeat soul. She was also an extremely gifted artist and animator. One of the things that made her streams stand out was that in them she’d be joined by little mini pandas and another was that she was so energetic. She eventually stepped away, if memory serves me correctly, to focus on her career as an animator, which based on her talent, I feel she excelled at. Her Twitch and Twitter are gone but if you’d like to check her Tiktok out it is still there.

Cass Kuns is a Malaysian Vtuber is one my closest vtuber friends from South East Asia. He made this for me for my birthday. One year I went on stream to help celebrate his birthday. Sadly I have not had a chance to catch up with him since leaving Twitter.

Cas was a good and close friend of mine and this piece is very much an inside joke between us, one of a more intimate nature, that out of respect I will not explain here. What I will explain is that while everyone else either called my bird form a duck or goose, Cas, with their typical Cas-like ingenuity came up with a solution. Cas has a unique way of looking at the world and issues and their solution to this debate was to call me a duoose, hence the duck-goose flavor.

I was debating on whether or not I should include this because while I does not include an image of me per se but Cas did make it for my birthday and it includes my name.

There is so much I could say here and will indeed say. This piece right here was the very first piece of fan art I have ever received, so early it dates from a time before I had received the first design of my Big Mike character from my original artist. So prior to having a profile picture of my won, I used a very old logo of my favorite band Streetlight Manifesto, which is a dude in a trench coat and glasses, smoking, completely in silhouette form, under a streetlight. Fran is much more than just the person I received my first fan art from. She is one of my friends from my original circle. She’s also the artist behind most of my work, both my human and duck/goose form. A few weeks after receiving my original profile picture from my first artist, she was involved in some controversy. Allegedly she was accused of tracing, at which point, Fran stepped in and helped me with some awesome art work for not just my Twitter but also my channel. Finding reliable and trustworthy artists, back in 2021 was not as easy as it is today and it was very much a gamble as to whether or not you would ever get what you payed for or get scammed. In a sea of scammers, Fran was a bright, talented breath of fresh air.

Goblin Manga, or as I commonly know them as Trix, is a real solid friend. I don’t think my words could do justice to just how much they have helped me. They really came through for me and saved my ass when my computer was dying. In this picture he drew my duck form as a Pokemon of sorts.

Sadly I don't know too much about Goose1, he stoped being very active in the group just before I joined. When I first joined the bird cult almost all of the members had a profile picture in such a style. As of now, only Honkflap and Captain use theirs.

Oddter, or as I affectionately refer to him as Oddenberg is an Otter vtuber who hosts a latenight talk show styled stream on Twitch (Think something along the lines of The Tonight Show or The Late Show). I gave him the nickname Oddenberg because with his hat and beard he reminds me of The One Who Knocks. In addition to being a damn good friend and host, he is also quite a talented artist. This piece features Mike in his duck or goose form.

This second piece by Oddter features not only myself but fellow bird cult member Kitt the Rat, with a chess piece. For context at this time all three of us had recently friended each other on Chess.com and had been locked in many intense chess matches against each other, hence the chess piece.

I remember Dr. Pixel, unfortuantely we never really interacted very much, but sadly I do not remember his handle. With most of these I saved the handle as apart of the file name, but for some reason I did not do so with this piece.

Rob is another member of the bird cult and one of the few non-avian ones. Rob is also an insanely talented artist. Rob was also the best dungeon master I have ever had the pleasure of playing dungeons and dragons. Rob did this for his birthday! In this amazing work, I am in my duck or goose form ridding cult of bear, who was a close friend of mine and was King Kaiser’s alt. Rob even made bear look a bit like Monika from DDLC, my waifu.

Tsar Khan is one of my closest bros and my favorite streamer. He is some I can have some amazing, insanely humorous moments with and yet talk about so real serious and heavy hitting topics with as well. For examples of both of these see my description of the next piece by Khan. Interestingly this piece actually comes from a time before I had started watching him. At the time we were sharing our mutual love of cursed images with each other and odd things used as adult toys. For context: at the time I was approached by a sex toy company who wanted to make a dildo that looked like, albeit vaguely, Mike in his duck or goose form. Unfortunately due to the murky legal nature of sex toys in my current country of residence I had to pass it up, still it made for some humorous times.

I had entered a contest on one of Tsar Khan’s stream and as a result he did this art for an episode of Coffee With Big Mike entitled: Khansequences of the Industrial Revolution, in which he was my guest. filled with so many allusions to many of the most unforgettable times in our friendship. First in the back is a picture of my waifu for lifefu, Monika. Not only is she my waifu but is also a call back to Khan's play through of DDLC which I felt the need to tell him "I am sorry" for numerous times. Until he got to that moment in the game. Also being there to experience the insanity of DDLC with him was one hell of a ride. On the table you will see a few items, one a tumor with teeth & an eye, & the other is an apple, known affectionately as the hang time apple. They share a common origin. So in Khan's stream I sometimes like to be absurd just to see if I can get a laugh out of him. Often times this is just us imagining absurd hypothetical scenarios. Often times this will make me curious and so I will search to see if said hypothetical is real with me often sharing my results with Khan. The tumor with teeth and an eye is a reference to both of us learning live on his stream that tumors can grow eyes. A normal phrase used by us, & others in the stream is "The industrial revolution & its consequences have been a disaster for the human race.", but neither of us had actually read the whole thing. So in 2025, Khan read it on stream in a series I refer to as Doki Doki Insurrectionist Literature Club. It was not an easy read for either of us, but I think reading it together, as a joint experience was definitely the way to go and is probably my favorite reading memory of all time. So this picture is more than just a thumbnail for me, it's a nice little slice of our friendship that makes me smile.
