This one features a video I made way before I even dreamed of Youtubing. Several years after coming to Indonesia I lost someone very important to me back in North Carolina. I am not a man of great means, so I was unable to return home for the funeral. So I made this video as a way of expressing grief. It’s a reading of the poem The Tide Rises, The Tide Falls by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow set to the opening of Champagne Supernova by Oasis (karaoke version), featuring photos and a video of North Carolina beaches. The person this video was meant to honor loved the beaches of the Tar Heel State.
